Cannonau di Sardegna is a DOC from the Italian island of Sardinia. It is made from Cannonau, the local name for the Grenache – one of Sardinia's most successful wine grapes. An elegant wine with black and red berry aromas accented by herbal and earthy notes. Lively acidity is balanced by ripe tannins. Aged two years in large Slavonian oak barrels with an additional several months in bottle.
